POOL Discussion Thread

Hahaha, yes we are…

Hahaha, fellas… you should at least take solace in the fact @Xenon1311 has my number

I don’t know about that. I had one glorious match where I couldn’t lose against @Gramma. That was more luck than skill though. Outside that match it’s been much more of a struggle. I’m getting smacked around a bit in this King’s Court match right now.

Man, that was painful hahaha. I was on :monkey: tilt for a solid hour that day.

Finally caught something good vs Gramma

:flushed: :flushed: :flushed:

Oh boy, 4-betting ATs and hitting the 1-in-118 nuts… I think I would’ve been just as hyped

Btw, I know I made some pretty boneheaded plays in the Wolfish Goose, but what about everyone else? Is @Xenon1311 running really hot?

Considering that most matches I’m practically a charity for you, I think I deserve to make a bit back from time to time. I’m sure we will be back to business as usual in no time.

In case anyone wanted a tutorial on set mining:

So it’s good to know that I am definitely way out of my league playing king’s court match. Way more study needed.
And then we have this beautiful beat too - RIP me

Ouch, tough one. I lose a full stack there too.

@Vexxus I fully share your feeling on this one lol, guess it’s a lot more study from here on out.
I also established a baseline of how bad I am in terms of bb/100, at least I got consistency going for me.

I’m back and ready for some action! I’ve been making adjustments to my game so I’m excited to start experimenting with some stuff on here. By the way I’d love to see some more hand discussion on these forums, so I might post some spots I find complicated after a hand is over if y’all want to talk some strategy.

Yessss @Skid is back! I was going to suggest you join the King’s Court game but looks like you already have, it’s been fun a lot of fun lately (2.5x more hands than the other pools) and seems to let your overall strategy shine as opposed to just a few big hands being responsible for your results. Looking forward to some strategy discussion as well.
